What's the difference between a coating and paint correction?
A ceramic coating protects your paint and boosts gloss going forward. Paint correction removes existing defects — swirls, scratches, oxidation — that are already in the clear coat. For the best result, correction is done first, then the coating locks that flawless finish in. Our Correction + Coating packages bundle both.
1-step vs 2-step correction — which do I need?
1-step is a single polishing stage that boosts gloss and clears light swirls and haze — great for newer or well-kept paint. 2-step is a full cut-and-polish that removes heavier swirls, scratches, and oxidation for a near-flawless mirror finish. Not sure? Send us a photo and we'll tell you straight.
Do you come to me?
Yes. Unlike most shops that require a 1–3 day drop-off, we bring the entire process to your home. The coating then cures overnight in your own garage.
Do I need a garage?
For ceramic coatings, yes — the coating must cure in a clean, dry, dust-free space for at least 12 hours. We apply on-site and your vehicle cures safely in your garage overnight. Paint correction on its own doesn't require a garage.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Our Standard CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 lasts 2–3 years with proper maintenance. The Long-Life tier uses CarPro DQuartz for up to 5 years. Plus our Coating Care Guarantee reload keeps it performing longer.
