What we actually do

A real interior detail, not a vacuum and a wipe

Austin is rough on interiors. Breakfast tacos on the way in, car seats, dogs coming back from the greenbelt, and a summer that bakes it all in. A quick vacuum doesn't get what's in the carpet and seats.

We go in order: a deep vacuum including under the seats and the trunk, compressed air through the vents and seams, every surface cleaned by hand, steam on the touch points, stain treatment where it needs it, leather cleaned and conditioned, glass last. Cupholders, door pockets, seat rails, the stuff people skip.

Pick the Refresh if the car is kept up and just needs a proper clean. Pick the Restore if it needs real work. If you're not sure, text a photo and we'll tell you.

Heavy pet hair, deep stains or a car that has not been cleaned in a long time can take longer. If that changes anything, we show you and agree it before we start.

Car odor removal · Austin

Smoke, pet and mildew smells, treated where they live

A smell is something still in the car: smoke in the headliner and the vents, dog in the carpet, a spill that ran under the seat, damp in the trunk. An air freshener sits on top of it for a week. We go after the thing itself.

What that looks like: we find where it is coming from and treat that spot with steam and an enzyme odor remover, on top of the Restore deep vacuum and the compressed-air blowout of the vents and seams. Add Odor elimination ($35) when you book and tell us what the smell is, so we bring the right products for it. More on how it works on our car odor removal page.

Straight answer: it is not guaranteed to come out completely. Pet, food, milk and mildew smells usually do. Smoke that has soaked into a headliner and cloth seats for years gets a lot better and may not go away in one visit. We tell you which one you have before we start, not after.

Questions

Interior questions

If yours isn't here, text us. We answer fast.

How much does an interior car detail cost in Austin?

With us, $145 to $345. The Refresh runs $145 to $235 and the Restore $235 to $345, set by vehicle size: coupes at the low end, full-size vans and heavy-duty trucks at the top. Add-ons are the same price for every size: odor elimination $35, light pet hair $25, heavy pet hair $55, car seats $25 each. The full table is above, there is no travel fee, and the price you book is the price you pay.

Can you get stains out?

Most of them, yes, with steam and a stain treatment. Set-in stains improve a lot even when they don't vanish. We'll tell you before we start, not after.

Can you get cigarette smoke smell out of a car?

Often most of it, sometimes all of it, and we do not promise either. Smoke sits in the headliner, the vents and the fabric, so that is where we work: a blowout of the vents and seams, steam, and an enzyme odor remover on the fabric and headliner. Book the Restore with odor elimination and tell us it's smoke. A car with years of heavy smoking in cloth seats improves a lot on the first visit and may need more than one.

What about pet, food or mildew smells?

Those come from something in the fabric, the carpet or under a seat, and we treat that spot with steam and an enzyme odor remover. Most of them come out, and we tell you up front if yours looks like one that won't fully. Odor elimination is $35 on top of either package; for anything beyond a light smell, pair it with the Restore.

Do you remove pet hair?

Yes. Light pet hair is $25 and heavy is $55, added at booking. It's rubber blocks, compressed air and patience, not one more pass with the vacuum. Tell us the breed and we'll know what we're walking into.

Do you shampoo or extract the seats and carpets?

Steam and stain spot treatment are part of the Restore and handle most of it. A full carpet extraction is part of our Elite package. If your interior needs that on its own, text us a photo and we'll set a price before anyone shows up.

How long does it take?

Refresh is about 1 to 2 hours. Restore is 2 to 3 depending on how bad it is. You don't wait anywhere, we text you when it's done.

Do you clean child car seats?

Yes. Straps, buckles, padding and base, following the seat maker's instructions. It's $25 per seat, add it at booking.

How often should an interior be detailed?

For a daily driver with kids or a dog, a Refresh every two to three months keeps it from ever needing a Restore. Most of our regulars do a Refresh a few times a year and a Restore once, or put the car on a Garage Plan and stop thinking about it.

Do I need to be home?

No. We need access to the car and a spot to work. Most people leave a key or meet us for a minute. You get a text and photos when it's done.

When do I pay?

After the detail, once you've looked the car over. Booking saves your card without charging it. The charge goes through when the job is done.

What if it rains?

We move it, no charge. We'll text you the day before if the forecast looks bad.

Pick Refresh or Restore. We bring the steamer.

Book online in a minute, add odor or pet hair at checkout, pay when it's done.
