What to expect
Most boats on Lake Austin live on a lift behind the house or in a covered boathouse, which makes them easy for us to reach. We set up on the dock, bring our own water and power, and work through the boat top to bottom while you get on with your day. You don’t need to be home.
Lake Austin stays at a steady level, and boats get used a lot through the season. The wear shows up in the same places: hard water spots on the hull and windshield, sunscreen and drink stains on the vinyl, and sand in the carpet. The Captain handles all of it. A monthly Deckhand in between keeps it from building up again.
Tell us how to reach the dock when you book: a gate, a side yard or a path down the hill. We’ll confirm the day before. If the boat is in a boathouse, we work under the roof, which keeps the sealant out of direct sun while it sets.

Every boat package is a set price for its length class: up to 21 feet, or 22 feet and up. The number you book is the number you pay unless you add something at the dock, and nothing is added without your OK.
Most boats on a lift or in a slip do best on a monthly Deckhand wash with a Captain once or twice a season. If the gel coat has gone chalky, the Admiral adds a one-step polish to bring the shine back.

Can you detail the boat on the lift?
Yes. Leave it raised if you can. We work from the dock and swim platform, and we bring everything we need.
How often should a Lake Austin boat be detailed?
For a boat used most weekends in summer, a Deckhand wash every month and a Captain at the start and end of the season. Boats in a covered boathouse can go a little longer between visits.
Do you clean the bimini and boat cover?
The vinyl seating and surfaces are part of every package. Canvas tops and covers aren’t, so if yours needs attention, text us a photo and we’ll tell you what we can do.
Can you do the cars at the house the same day?
Yes. We usually do the cars in the driveway and then head down to the dock. Book them separately online or text us and we’ll set up both.
Do I need to be there?
No. We need to know where the boat is, how to get to the dock or lift, and a gate code if there is one. You get a text and photos when it's done.
Do you bring your own water and power?
Yes, everything. Fresh water for the final rinse, power for the tools, and all the products.
When do I pay?
After the detail, once you've looked the boat over. Booking saves your card without charging it. The charge goes through when the job is done.
